Longtime donors to the Critical Languages Program, the Dunkels recently created a scholarship for students studying Russian art or artifacts of the 19th or 20th centuries. Professor  Dunkel established the scholarship in 2018 to honor his parents, who were both Russian immigrants who met in New York City.
