Quality Matters & Online Course Design

Quality Matters (QM) is largely considered the national standard for online course design. This workshop will offer a brief overview of the eight QM standards and how those standards prepare instructors to effectively design online courses.

Adobe Connect & Synchronous Online Education
Adobe Connect is a tool used to promote synchronous interactions among online students and instructors. In this workshop, participants will learn how to use Adobe Connect for a variety of educational purposes including virtual office hours, lectures, webinars, and discussions.

Voice Thread for Interactive Online Activities

Voice Thread is a platform that facilitates asynchronous interactions via text, video, and images. This workshop will teach participants how to create interactive activities that build and strengthen online learning communities.
